In an exciting announcement, it was revealed this week that Ignition Wealth and Link Digital Solutions (LDS) have partnered up to offer a range of sophisticated superannuation and insurance online tools and calculators to super fund members.

Link Digital Solutions (LDS) and Ignition Wealth have teamed up to give superannuation fund members access to super and insurance cover tools and calculators directly via LDS’ online member portals.

The partnership will mean clients can better access personal projections and simulations for their superannuation and insurance arrangements via the online channel.

To date, the partners have already commenced work to seamlessly integrate LDS’ member online portal for super funds with the digital advice platform owned by Ignition.

LDS, which also recently partnered with DocuSign, has partnered with Ignition in accordance with its strategy to better serve its client base and support member acquisition, engagement and retention.

Ignition said, in reference to the hosting of its solutions on web and mobile apps, “recognising the consumer move to access sites via their smart telephones, our technology is always developed to be mobile-first and to deliver an excellent user experience.”

Link Group noted in yesterday’s announcement that “online advice tools are increasingly being used by superannuation funds as another way to encourage member engagement in the battle for member retention.”

LDS falls under Link Group’s information, digital and data solutions (IDDS) division, which provides digital platforms and apps for its super clients and listed corporates.

IDDS chief executive Paul Gardiner commented that Link Group was always seeking new ways to provide clients with “greater choice and functionality” so as to foster better engagement.

“This partnership with Ignition Wealth will allow us to pre-populate superannuation advice tools such as personal projections and simulations, and make them readily available within our clients’ online member portals,” he said.

“Ultimately, this will assist funds as they support their members in the journey from accumulation to retirement.”

Ignition chief executive Mark Fordree supported this, saying, “The integration of Link Group’s administration technology with Ignition Wealth’s online digital advice provides a consumer first solution, as the ability to automatically pre-fill tools and calculators with real member data will increase accuracy and decrease time, driving greater member engagement.”
